Southern Appalachian Plant Society (SAPS) invites you to join us in learning more about plants. Formed in 1995 as an outgrowth of the UT Master Gardener program, SAPS is a regional horticultural organization, dedicated to the understanding of plants and gardening through programs, projects, and member interaction. Our membership consists of over 270 avid gardeners residing in 27 NE Tennessee and SW Virginia communities. We meet monthly to continually increase our horticulture knowledge and share experiences.

- SAPS’ Newsletter, The Wheelbarrow, published 12 times a year, is your resource for news on upcoming meetings and trips, a calendar of area garden related events, and educational articles on horticultural topics.
